Gràcia Nova is the natural extension of the historic neighborhood of Vila de Gràcia, a quiet and central area of Barcelona. In this case, we find a compact property in a modern estate of 1980.
The entrance of light was focused only on the living room and one of the bedrooms. One of the main challenges of the project was how to bathe the rest of property with natural light. To do this, we focus on extending all steps and doors and eliminating all false ceilings to achieve the highest possible headroom.
The placement of the service area (storage, laundry, bathroom) in the areas farthest from the exterior in conjunction with the placement of the kitchen in the living room finished configuring an apartment without lost spaces and optimizing all resources.
To finish this operation, a careful choice of materials and textures for this project. Carrara marble specifically selected in the factory by our team of architects, hexagonal tiles, and a level shower provides quality details to this cozy apartment in Gràcia.
